Waiver and Release of Liability
All individuals attending events hosted by Spades & Company are required to pre-register in advance.
By registering for and/or entering the premises of Spades & Company to attend any event, activity, lesson, or gathering hosted by Spades & Company, whether on or off our premises, you acknowledge and agree to the following,
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending, participating in, arriving at, or leaving a Spades & Company event. These risks may include, but are not limited to, slips, trips, falls, physical injury, medical emergencies (including heart attack or other health-related incidents), emotional distress, property damage, or any other loss or harm.
You hereby release, waive, and hold harmless Spades & Company, its owners, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to your attendance or participation in an event, including claims resulting from negligence.
You acknowledge that Spades & Company does not provide medical supervision or emergency medical services and that you are responsible for determining whether you are physically and medically able to participate in any event or activity.
By completing event registration and/or entering the event space, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to this waiver and release of liability, and that your participation is voluntary.
Right to Refuse Services and Code of Conduct
Spades & Company reserves the right to refuse service, deny entry, or remove any individual from its premises or events at any time, with or without prior notice, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
In particular, Spades & Company will not tolerate conduct that is disruptive, abusive, intimidating, or otherwise inconsistent with a respectful and welcoming environment. Any individual who violates the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) Zero Tolerance Policy, or engages in behavior that undermines sportsmanship, courtesy, or fair play, may be refused service, denied participation, or asked to leave an event or the premises.
Such action may be taken at the sole discretion of Spades & Company, including during an event, and without refund of registration fees, where applicable.
By registering for or attending a Spades & Company event, participants acknowledge and agree to comply with all posted policies, including behavioral standards and codes of conduct.
